Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.
My family doesn’t really have any traditions so instead here are some things I would like to be my family traditions someday.
Road Trips
I would love to take family road trips every summer. I know that doesn’t sound super exciting, but I love spending time in the car because it’s justified reading time because there’s not much to do.
As well, I love learning about local history to wherever I am and historical sites tend to be both (comparatively) budget-friendly and less heavily traveled.
Bonus: road trip souvenirs! Mine are enamel pins, Starbucks been there mugs, and tattoos.
Sunday Dinners
I love me a good roast dinner, both cooking and eating. However, the people I live with keep the kitchen in a state where it can’t really be used for cooking… or eating… or sitting in, and physically I can’t do it all myself, so the dream remains on hold until I have a kitchen of my very own.

Bonus: leftovers for Monday lunch.
A Whole-ass Month of Christmasness
I adore everything about Christmas, except late-December mall shopping, and Mariah Carey. I want snow, weekly advent celebrations, real balsam fir, snuggly movie nights, bayberry candles, Buffalo plaid, sleigh rides, matching pajamas, copious baked goods, Christmas markets, evenings by the fireplace, Santa Claus parades, all of it. HOOK ME UP.
Bonus: maybe a puppy for Christmas?
