Ominous Velour

The fastest way to ensure I never do something a 2nd time is to give me positive reinforcement the 1st time. The VP of our division complimented me on a report I wrote today and I’m ready to quit my job and flee the country.

Mind you, the 2nd fastest way is to give me negative reinforcement, so I guess the only surefire way to make sure I do something more than once is to NEVER EVER ACKNOWLEDGE MY EXISTENCE AT ALL.

I’ve actually told that to my boss in the past but she thought I was joking and laughed. Not sure what my next steps should be.
