On uterine cohabitation

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

As a person who dislikes inaccurate language, I have, at times, insisted on referring to non-identical female/female twins as sororal, rather than fraternal.

Frater: Latin for brother

Soror: Latin for sister

Fratrem: Latin for sibling

That brought to mind that there doesn’t seem to be a common, genderless equivalent that could be used for male/female twins. That said, I hereby propose “fratremnal” for this purpose. Even if it never catches on in broader use, I’m rolling with it.

With love for all the weird words out there,

Ereyesterday, yesterday, today, tomorrow, overmorrow, and forever,

Jayjay 💜
