Ominous Velour

Dude, I’m a 44-year-old high school dropout who spent most of her “career-building” years homeschooling her kids. I’ve been with my current employer for 9 years and I have extended medical benefits and an RRSP. I’m pretty sure this is the pinnacle for me.

I was ready to go back to school last year and tentatively registered to do my bachelor’s in computing & information systems with a minor in geoscience, but certain cave trolls decided it was too expensive and that there were other things I should be spending my money on.

So now my plans are either A) win the LottoMax or B) keep droning on and hope I’m still alive to retire at 80 or whatever the mandatory working age will be at that point.

I’m praying for plan A.
