Ominous Velour

I would love, Love, LOVE to be in a financial position to be able to quit my job and just volunteer 40 hours a week.

I haven’t done much volunteering since The Cold That Shall Not Be Named, and I really miss it. But prior to that I was working 40 and then volunteering another 10 or 12. Now it’s mostly just the work.

Unfortunately, our area is rural enough that there actually aren’t that many volunteer opportunities outside of sitting on committees and I’d rather spend my time, y’know… doing stuff.

I’m not the pickiest about where I volunteer, but my top picks tend to lean towards, for lack of a better term, the vulnerable? Animals, kids, LGBT+, veterans (NOT VEGANS, AUTOCORRECT, FOR PITY’S SAKE), my fellow disableds, that kind of thing.
