As a general answer, October. Cool, foggy, lots of rain, leaves changing, cozy sweaters and leggings and ankle boots, pumpkins, harvest festivals, knitting, all culminating in Halloween!

However, if I’m somewhere where snow is prevalent, as I have been the 9 years prior to this one, the answer is January. Snow, cold, long nights, warm, cheesy, gooey casseroles, cozy blankets and jammies, fireplaces, evenings of tea, candles, and books, so many excuses to enter slothmode.
